With under 87 days until Opening Day, the South Bend Cubs will host a pair of job fairs at Four Winds Field to fill vacant gameday positions with customer service focused individuals. Both job fairs will be held on Saturday, February 10 from 10:00am to 12:00pm in the Pepsi Stadium Club at Four Winds Field.
"This winter warm up reminds us that baseball is right around the corner," said Team President Joe Hart. "We're looking to fill our vacant game day positions with people willing to go the extra mile for our fans. Coming to a game at Four Winds Field isn't just about baseball. It's the family-friendly, 9-inning vacation that keeps our guests coming back year after year. We're looking for enthusiastic, hardworking people who enjoy working with others to join our team."
The job fair will spotlight 20 different categories across eight departments within the Cubs organization. Some of the available positions include Blue Crew members, fun zone leader, ticket seller, hospitality host, parking attendant, video production crew member, custodial services, team store employee, concessions team member, and more.
"Our organization has seen a tremendous amount of success over the last six years and much of that success is in part to our gameday team members," said Vice President and General Manager Nick Brown. "We would not have won Ballpark of the Year, Organization of the Year or broken the franchise attendance record each of the last four years without our friendly and dedicated staff. If you are enthusiastic, hardworking, and customer service focused, we have a spot for you."
Job seekers are encouraged to fill out their application before they arrive at the job fair. The application can be found by clicking here. Applications will also be available at each job fair.
The South Bend Cubs will open the 2018 campaign at West Michigan for a two-game series before coming home to Four Winds Field for Opening Day on Saturday, April 7 against the Whitecaps.
