The Bowen Center Training Institute is hosting a Behavioral Health & Human Services Seminar " Non-Suicidal Self-Injury: Understanding the Why and How to help. Friday, June 8, 2018 8:30am-4:30pm at IPFW-Walb Student Union located at:

The cost for this workshop is $199


This workshop addresses what non-suicidal self injury (NSSI) is, common reasons it occurs, and how professionals can work with those who engage in self-injury. It will include differential diagnoses of those who self-injure and how it presents differently in different populations.

This training qualifies for 6 hours of Continuing Education Units in the Behavioral Health and Human Services (BHHS) field.

Speaker: Kelly Baumgarden, Psy. D., HSPP

Beverages will be provided during the morning and afternoon of this event. A lunch break will be provided for approximately 2 hours. IPFW campus has a few options for food and there are multiple resturants near by the campus if needed.
