The Plymouth Public Library will hold a book discussion on The Distance Between Us by Reyna Grande......
The book, The Distance Between Us by Reyna Grande, is a memoir of her life. She writes about immigration, poverty, hunger, homelessness, abuse, addiction, and many other situations that touch or may touch our lives.
Whatever we think about immigration, these other issues can bring a commonality, a bridge, if you will, between us. Do we know someone who struggles with addictions? Do we know someone who has been abused? Have WE been abused? Have WE wondered how we were going to pay rent?
Join us in reading Ms. Grande’s book! You can sign a copy out for two weeks. We have copies available in English and in Spanish. The book discussion will be on April 26 at 6:00pm at the Plymouth Public Library.
