Exploring Celtic Mysticism with Simone Ni Chinneide-MoonTree Studios
Facilitator, Simone Ni Chinneide, will provide an introduction to the Celtic mystical tradition, shamanism. A pre-Christian spiritual philosophy, shamanism is rooted in a harmonious relationship with the natural world, its cycles, and all of its creatures. This day-long experience is for those looking to explore indigenous spiritual traditions, specifically those of Celtic origin. With over 29 years of experience doing trans-personal and shamanic work, including 7 years as a meditation and visualization teacher, Simone was originally drawn to Celtic mythology through the stories and experiences of her grandfather. In addition to her druidic training, Simone has studied North and Central American indigenous shamanism, Jungian psychology, astrology, folklore, Reiki, and breathwork. This is Simone’s first visit to the United States, and she will be assisted by Geraldine Gibbons who runs Yeats Lodge in Silgo, Ireland and specializes in legends, folklore, fairies, and Ireland’s High Towers. Simone will be available for private sessions via appointment following the workshop thru Wednesday, March 12.
This experience will take place Saturday, March 7, 2020, from 9AM until 3PM in the MoonTree Gallery. Lunch at the Motherhouse is included.
Overnight accommodations are available through Lindenwood Retreat and Conference Center and can be reached at (574) 935-1780.
