Press Release: New Series “Crossroads: Change in Rural America”
Marshall County Historical Society has been awarded a $1,500 grant by Indiana Humanities through the Smithsonian Institution Mainstreet Initiative to host a series of talks exploring the changing rural landscape of Marshall County by discussing themes of identity, land, community, persistence, and maintaining change.
In total, there are six talks, some of them will be presented as Brown Bag Lunch programs at the Marshall County Museum while others will be hosted in the evening at other venues in the county. Bring a sack lunch, a friend, or just yourself and come learn with us! The Museum is located at 123 North Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN. For more information call (574)936-2306.
