Plymouth Chamber's Member of the Month: Hoosier Driving Academy!

Hoosier Driving Academy is dedicated to training Indiana's prospective drivers to drive safely and well. We accomplish this through exceptional and innovative classroom and Behind-the-Wheel training. Beginning in July of 2011, we are also offering an online alternative to our classroom training. We have partnered with Driversed.com to offer an Internet-based option for the classroom portion of the course.

Our classroom and driving instructors are not only Indiana State Certified but are leaders in the community. You can count on them to take a personal interest in your student because they've shown their leadership in the communities in which they teach. They are coaches, teachers, business people and, most important of all, parents. You can read more about our staff at our Meet the Staff page.

In addition to our professional staff, we will also bring to the classroom guest speakers who are either police officers, emergency medical personnel, or other subject-matter experts. We feel that these guest speakers make the training more realistic, and certainly more educational.

Our classes and driving schedules fit just about any schedule. During the Academic school year, we offer classes in the evenings and on weekends. This allows those students who have other things going on in the summer such as sports, jobs, or vacations, to still take Driver's Education as soon as they turn 15. You can view our upcoming classes on our Class Schedules page.

Our classes are very affordable. We charge $395 for the regular classes which includes textbook rental, Indiana Driver's Manual, 30 hours of classroom instruction, plus 6 hours of Behind-the-Wheel instruction. We charge $350 for the online version with DriversEd.com which includes access to the DriversEd.com course plus 6 hourse of Behind-the-Wheel instruction. If you are interested in signing up for classes, please contact us at 574-936-2659 or email cfeece@hoosierdriving.com.

The driving academy has moved its office space to the co-work space at The Midas Center at 200 North Michigan Street.

Next class will start January 22nd (Sunday) for 10 weeks from 1:00 to 4:00.
