The official ambassadors of the Chamber, who serve in a public relations capacity and as the liaison between the Chamber Board and the membership. Members attend ribbon cuttings, ground breaking ceremonies, dedications, and Business After Hours functions on a regular basis. They also assist with the Golf Outing and Annual Dinner. They help introduce new members to Chamber activities by serving as “chamber buddies” during a new member’s first year.

The objective of the Retail Merchant's Committee is to promote the Plymouth business community, through promotion of the restaurants and retail shops in the area. The goal is to market the area as a whole and coordinate promotional events that will “bring consumers to Plymouth.

The Community & Business Development committee works to enhance existing business opportunities for its members through business and retention assistance. The overall goal is to help facilitate business members’ opportunities to achieve a higher level of business growth and improved business capacity. To achieve its goals the Chamber relies on support, input, and participation from its Community & Business Dvelopment committee composed of a cross section of local industry leaders.

This committee is responsible for monitoring, evaluating and helping to formulate legislative issues, holds forums with local and state governmental officials, evaluates ballot issues that affect local businesses and the community and makes recommendations to the Chamber Board for endorsements. It helps to develop policy on issues, legislation, regulations and other governmental actions that affect the membership and the community.

Members of this active committee assist with the positive promotion of the Chamber to the membership and the community through all forms of the media including but not limited to print and radio. Members participate in the development of quality of life publications, membership development materials and Chamber and community information that will be available to promote the area in print and on the Web.
