Marshall Starke Development
1901 Pidco Drive, Plymouth; 574-936-9400
The Marshall Starke Development Center (MSDC) is perhaps one of the better kept industrial secrets in the Marshall County area. Located in the Plymouth Industrial Park, MSDC offers a variety of outsourcing opportunities for local business and industry. MSDC has 15,000 square feet of industrial space and an available labor force of over 100 people. As stated in the flyer that was included in the March NewsMonth, no job is too large or too small. There is vast experience in light assembly, packaging, sorting and mailing. MSDC also manufactures wooden reels for the wire industry, and wooden shipping blocks for some window manufacturers. Quotes to prospective customers are given as the total price for a completed piece. Customers know exactly what they will be paying for each item that is packaged or produced. Often, MSDC produces just a portion of a larger job, controlling production costs of each step. Sub-contracting with MSDC eliminates guesswork and productivity issues. MSDC receive high marks on satisfaction surveys completed by MSDC customers for product quality and on time deliveries. Most MSDC customers have been with them for a number of years
that in itself makes a statement. MSDC's labor force is comprised primarily of individuals with disabilities. However, given the right tools and supports, their abilities can be tremendous assets to any business or industry. For a quote, a tour, or further information call Christie Rice, Industrial Director at 574-936-9400.
