| Partners in Contracting Corporation (PICC), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educate, promote and assist Northwest Indiana small businesses in all phases of government contract procurement, is hosting Indiana's only “Matchmaker” Government Procurement Conference this year on May 19th. The conference is being held at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center, 4141 Calumet Avenue, Hammond, Indiana. This one-day conference provides networking opportunities for hundreds of Indiana small businesses with up to 50 federal and state agency buyers and the U.S. Department of Defense prime contractors. The day, which includes a number of workshops and presentations designed to assist regional businesses dealing with government agencies, will also provide local business representatives an opportunity to “sell” their product/service face to face with the buyers and contractors. Keynote speakers will be featured at breakfast and lunch. The cost of the all day conference is $95 and includes admission to all exhibits and workshops as well as breakfast and lunch.
