Amy K. Thieling has completed the requirements for licensing as a Certified Public Accountant by the State of Indiana. These include the successful completion of the Uniform CPA Exam, a 2-day test that is reputed to be the most stringent professional licensing exam in the country, as well as three years of public accounting experience working under the direction of a licensed CPA. Amy has been employed with Thieling Co, CPA of Plymouth since December 1996. She has performed various services for the firm's clients during that period including auditing, accounting and financial statement preparation, tax planning and preparation, and various business and management consulting services. She is certified as a QuickBooks 99 and 2000 advisor. Amy has been a lifetime resident of Marshall County. She and her son Jared presently live near Argos.
Swan Lake Resort & Swan Lake Golf Club 5203 PLYMOUTH-LAPORTE TRAIL PLYMOUTH (219) 935-5680 Now under new ownership, Swan Lake Resort is going through many exciting new changes that will allow them to better serve their customers. Improvements, on the golf course include newly completed indoor golf training and practice facility and the addition of several target greens on the driving range. They are working vigorously to improve the maintenance practices on the golf course and plans are underway to change the layout of several holes. In addition, construction has began on the new 7,000 square foot pro shop and grille room that will be opening for the 2002 season. Improvements to the hotel and convention center are in the making. The new outdoor pool facility located directly behind the hotel in now open. There is a new gazebo located just off the pool for special outdoor events. Construction has also started on the new 35,000 square foot convention center, which will house the ăpublicä restaurant, feature a 600 seat banquet facility and is expected to open in December 2001.

The addition increases the staff to three full time therapists, one psychiatrist and three case managers. Services provided by Madison Center are individual counseling, family therapy, group therapy, addictions treatment (including intensive outpatient and relapse prevention), psychiatric services and case management services. Madison Center's hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesdays 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Fridays 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. |
