The world famous Harlem Gospel Choir, founded in 1986, is one of the pre-eminent gospel choirs in the world. It travels the globe, sharing its joy of faith through its music. The Choir has shared their message of love, peace and harmony for many years with thousands of people from various nations, backgrounds, and cultures. During 2003 and 2004 the Choir toured the world on an extended "Give Peace a Chance" tour.
In recognition of its work, the Choir was granted a private audience with His Holiness, Pope John Paul II.
This year the Choir will embark on its new "God Bless the Children" world tour. Encore is please to be able to bring this world renowned Choir to you in cooperation with other Midwest venues. (www.harlemgospelchoir.com)
