Of Interest to our Chamber member contractors
2007 Minority Procurement Seminar
Thursday, September 27, 2007
9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Grand Hyatt Hotel, Washington, D.C.
The Plymouth Chamber has received a letter from Robert A. Brady, Chairman of the Committee on House Administration announcing the above seminar. He states, 'There are thousands of opportunities for private contractors to provide goods and services to the Federal government each year. This is an excellent opportunity for you to learn about the numerous opportunities for business owners to bid on projects offered by various government agencies. This day-long seminar will focus on the contracts let by the offices of the Architect of the Capitol, the Chief Administrative Officer, the General Services Administration and the Small Business Administration. The sessions will teach you how to qualify for the small and minority business contract lists that some agencies maintain. It will also provide you with information on how to navigate the Federal contracting and bidding process. Because registration is limited, participants will be admitted on a first come, first served basis. When the registration is full, you will be placed on a priority list for the next seminar. If you have any questions, please contact Sterling Spriggs or Janice Crump of my staff at (202) 225-2061.'
The Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce office is located at 120 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. We have the Registration Form for this seminar. If you want to register for this seminar, you may pick up a copy from the Chamber office or call us at 936-2323 and we will fax it to you. You may also have a copy of the complete cover letter that came with the registration form.
