Ray's Golf Car Inc. is new to the Plymouth community. They are right on US 31 just 5 miles north of US 30 by the state highway garage. In business since 1969, they were located on the west side of South Bend until their recent move to Plymouth. Serving a 19 county area in northern Indiana and southwest lower Michigan, the move to Plymouth has made them more centralized in their territory to better serve their customers. Since 1999, the business has been owned by Dave & Angie Banicki. Dave has been active in the business since 1982 and Angie since 1987. They offer sales, service, customizing, parts, and accessories on new and used golf cars, transportation vehicles, and utility vehicles. They are the area's only factory authorized Club Car dealer. They have factory trained technicians who can do on-site or in-house repairs on most golf car and utility vehicle brands. The Otis R. Bowen Center For Human Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the kick-off of Marshall County's System of Care. The CARE Project, Collaborating to Achieve Rewarding Experiences, is a grant funded community mental health initiative striving to meet the ever-changing needs of children with emotional disturbances, and their families. Services will be catered to meet the families' individual needs, collaborating services among various community agencies, school corporations and mental health providers. The philosophy behind this, and all Systems of Care, is to keep services child centered and family focused. The CARE Project will begin accepting referrals January 4, 2005. Initially, referrals will come from the Marshall County Division of Family and Children, Marshall County Courts, school corporations and local mental health providers.
