 Advanced Systems - located at 7809 Redwood Road in Plymouth is pleased to announce the recent purchase of custom Tool & Die Co., Inc. Advanced Systems has been conducting business in the Plymouth area for the past two years, specializing in custom machine building and industrial automation services With the addition of Custom Tool & Die, Advance Systems now offers a broad range of machine design, building, and repair services. The combined company how has a technical staff of six and an office staff of two, focused on supporting the industrial community in north central Indiana. Advanced Systems will reside at the former Custom Tool & Die location at the corner of Redwood Road and U.S. 30 west of Plymouth. Metropolitan Title Company, LLC (formerly York Title) - located at 1419 N. Michigan Street, Suite 2, in Plymouth. York Title was purchased May 1, 1998 by Metropolitan. This has been a positive move for the customer as well as the staff of Metropolitan. Kim Engle is the manager and has 20 years experience in the title industry in Marshall County. The merger with Metropolitan has provided many positive changes, including no staffing changes and even more resources to continue to provide the exceptional service that York Title has been providing. Michigan Street, downtown Plymouth, is pleased to announce that Aaron Gaines has joined the staff of the museum as the new assistant director. Aaron was born in Nebraska and currently lives in South Bend. He received his B.S. degree in liberal arts and sciences from IUSB. Please come in and welcome him to our county. Tim and Jenny Quick, owners of Quick's Lanes since 1972, are putting the finishing touched on the latest renovations to the lanes. Over the last 26 years, Tim and Jenny have seen their establishment grow from a 10 lane center to 18 lanes. Not only has the inside had a major face lift, but Tim and Jenny have added to their roster of full time employees. In addition to Greg Espich, lane technician and US Olympic hopeful, in September of this year they hired Judy Weston as assistant operations manager, Pam Mahler was hired in November as a special events and league coordinator.
