Don't Deposit These Checks !!!!!
If your company gets a check fro $3.50 from an outfit called Yellow-Page.Net, be sure you don't include it among your checks to be deposited. Small print on the check reveals that endorsement and deposit constitutes a valid request for the company to list your firm on their internet website. You'll find a monthly charge of $12.50 on your telephone bill if the check is cashed. Yellow-Page.net has an address in Boulder City, Nevada. The BBB in Las Vegas says the firm has an unsatisfactory rating due to numerous unanswered complaints. Checks from this company recently began showing up in the mail here in Michiana.
In addition, another firm to watch out for is called Cyberspace which also mails out checks for 3.50. If you cash their check, your firm will be billed $29.95 a month on your phone bill for their internet service. Located in Santa Ana, California, this company also has an unsatisfactory rating at the BBB for no response. Be sure to share this alert with your employees.
