Indiana Institute on Disability and Community
Indiana University, Bloomington; www.iidc.indiana.edu
Every day your company is visited by people with disabilities via the telephone, FAX, e-mail, web, etc. Have you made those doors accessible? The Indiana Institute on Disability and Community at the Indiana University, Bloomington will offer "Profit from a Free Course on Accessible Information Technology" at no cost for business and state and local government agencies to help them learn how to create accessible information technology. | | In March, participants will receive the course on a CD-ROM that can be accessed via an Internet browser (e.g., Internet Explorer, Netscape). Different sections of the course will provide information on why it makes good sense to be accessible, what can be done to make information technology more accessible, and how business and agencies can plan to make that happen. Instructors will be available to guide the course throughout the month of March and lead a participant discussion via a listserv. Certificates will be awarded to participants who successfully complete the course. Participation in this event is free to the first 100 registrants. Send your name, position, organization, address, phone, fax number, and e-mail address via e-mail to cedir@indiana.edu. For additional information contact: Melanie Hounshell at 812-855-6508 or mhounshe@ijndiana.edu. |
