Marshall County Historical Museum, 123 N. Michigan St., Plymouth is Celebrating the Centuries with exhibits featuring pictorials of life from 1900 to 2000. Starting with the front windows and moving throughout the museum, those who will remember and those who will be introduced to history are treated to an array of nostalgia. The museum's front window is set up with a living room and bedroom scene of the 1950's. A gentleman watches television while eating a TV dinner in the living room while a poodle-skirt clad girl spins 45's with a movie star photo adorning the bedroom wall. The Early Railroad display includes artifacts from the Vandalia Line and the Pennsylvania Railroad Line. The displays continue throughout with 1900-1910 Early Businesses, 1920-1930 On The Road, 1930-1940 Those Were The Fairs, 1940-1950 That's Entertainment, 1960-1970 Race To The Moon and soon to be completed 1910-1920 Industrial Revolution, 1970-1980 Toys From Television & Movies, 1980-1990 Local Sports and 1990-2000 Service Clubs. Sprint issued their new, reader-friendly billing statements in Indiana May 13. The new look of these statements are a primary result of the input gathered from the customers and customer representatives in each local service area. The input Sprint received was crucial in making the significant improvements for a more easily readable statement. The improvements include using simple language, such as "day" or "evening" instead of rate codes, adding headings on each page that has Sprint's customer service number and internet address and the customer's account number, eliminating full-page and half-page ads throughout the bill, drawing attention to important areas by using white lettering in black boxes, and eliminating unnecessary page breaks. And now customers may easily find the pages with the breakdown of charges for the subtotals on the front page by following the page number reference and find listing changes in local and long distance providers, calling features and number of phone lines, along with the dates these changes occurred on the new "change in service" section. A brochure is mailed with each new bill that explains the changes. Customers with internet access may visit the View and Pay Bill section of Sprint's web site for more information, to view a one page summary of their bill and to pay on line at www.sprint.com/local.
