ROAD CONSTRUCTION UP-DATE

Construction on Oak Road between Jefferson St. and Lake Ave. will begin on June 11th. The plan is to begin widening the road on the east side to make an additional lane for local traffic. The road will be open to local traffic and emergency vehicles only. However, please drive with caution as trucks at times might be blocking the road and delays can be encountered.

The entire road will be closed for 3 days at the end of June to put a pipe under the road. Notification as to the exact dates will be forthcoming as the time gets closer.

You may call the field office at 936-1979 if you need further information or you may check on the progress of the Oak Road project either from the Chamber's front web page, or from Mike Strang's web page, www.strangs.com
