Service Wins!
A wise businessperson once said that being on par in terms of price and quality only gets you into the game. Service wins the game. As a business leader in our community, we are sure you not only appreciate the truth in this observation, but also are always searching for ways to maintain a winning team of employees. To make this challenge easier for you, the Chamber is proud to sponsor a workshop to inspire and revitalize your work force, while providing valuable tools they will be able to put to use immediately to 'wow!' you customers and clients.

Customer Service Excellence is to be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at the Laramore Room of the Plymouth Public Library. From 8:30 until 11:30 AM, participants will gain knowledge about how to get the edge on the competition by treating customers with extraordinary service that will keep them coming back.

In this half-day workshop, participants will discover:
-The top ten service mistakes customers hate
-The top ten service details that make customers rave
-Learn the magic words they love as well as those they despise
-Seven critical elements to achieving excellence
-Handling problems/complaints - how to be a fantastic fixer
-Ten keys to effective communication
-How to identify, meet and exceed customer expectations

Constant Training is the company presenting the seminar; founder Joe Constance will lead the workshop. He has been rated consistently outstanding in over 200 workshops in the last 2 years. He has owned nine different businesses and managed up to 200 employees. He shares with the audience not only his successes, but also his failures - all in a fun, relaxed and interactive manner.

JUNE 17
HEART AND HANDS LATINO FESTIVAL
Mark your calendars for a fun filled family day at this year's Latino Festival. There will be entertainers, food vendors and artisans at Plymouth's Centennial Park at the Young Amphitheater grounds. The Chamber has a booth space available again this year for Chamber members who wish to participate in sharing information about their business. This 'space' is a banquet size table that you will share with those members who sign up, so space is limited. There is no charge to our Chamber members for this participation. Call 936-2323 to take advantage of this opportunity.
