BUSINESS BRIEFS
Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County is now in the midst of its Annual Membership Drive. They are looking for compassionate and generous partners to help address the growing need for decent, affordable housing in Marshall County. Habitat for Humanity is in the process of selecting another Partner Family for their house to be built later this year. They are in need of volunteer labor, money and material donations to begin building. It takes roughly $45,000 to build a Habitat house. Three generous businesses, Gibson Insurance Group, National City Bank of Indiana, and Plymouth Foundry, Inc., have offered to match all donations to Habitat through May 1st. “Funds matching” ensures that Habitat can continue to help families achieve their dream of owning a decent, affordable home in Marshall County. To make a donation to Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County, please contact John Vialard at 936-3161 (REMC) from 8 AM to 5 PM or Ellen Boos in the evening at 936-7624. Applications for Partner Families may also be picked up at the REMC office in Plymouth.
