Let's Use Our Heads & Protect Our Children
For as little as $6, you can help prevent the serious injury or death of a child. Eighty percent of the children killed in bicycle accidents die from head injuries . . . most are preventable injuries, preventable deaths.

That is why Marshall County Pediatric Physicians is asking for your support of a special program to outfit Marshall County children with a Snell-certified bicycle helmet.

A contribution as small as $6 will outfit one child with a helmet. For just $6,000 we can outfit every third grader in Marshall County.

The police department will be distributing the helmets in conjunction with their bicycle safety lectures. Officers will show the students how to properly fit and wear their helmets. As the children grow, these helmets can be adjusted to fit.

Please help us by sending a tax-deductible check payable to:
Marshall County Community Foundation (Bicycle Helmet Fund)
P.O. Box 716
Plymouth, IN   46563

Thank you for your support. Helmets do prevent most serious injuries that occur in children during the accident-prone ages of 5 to 15. Together, we will surely lessen the injuries sustained by our children.

MEMBER BUSINESS AFTER HOURS
Having a business after hours is a great way to expose to a vast number of people what your business has to offer to a potentially expansive customer base. Your Chamber will help you to promote this event through the Chamber's NewsMonth, and through our developing community calendar. You may also wish to invite your own client and customer base. This can be an excellent way of advertising your business "up front and personable," showing off your facilities and your talents.

In an effort to stimulate and process business after hours for our members, please give this type of an event some thought, you may submit the "sign up" form online using this "sign up" form as soon as you have your date scheduled in. If you have any questions or would like some ideas that may assist you in creating a great business after hours, please call your Chamber, 219-936-2323.
