Our Newest Resource - The Calendar
Our lives seem to be, no they are getting busier!
The Chamber receives phone calls everyday asking if there is a community calendar of events for this area, from which to plan new events or to attend existing events. Now there is!
Sponsored by The Net Anywhere-ISP, created by Pages-Online, the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce's newest service to our members and to our community is the net based Plymouth Area Calendar of Events 2001.
This calendar located at the internet site www.plymouthcalendar.com is set up to receive entries for Church Events, to include Youth Events, Bake Sales and Rummage Sales, School Events, to include Fund Raisers, Sports Events, and Classes, Organizations /Service Clubs, to include Fund Raisers, Leagues, Raffles, and Government to include dates for meetings, police and fire department information.
There is also a twelve month calendar layout so that events are viewed at a glance for each month of the year.
The site has been developed to be easy to move around in and find the information you need. You may also submit your requests on line from the site.
For PACC members and Not-For-Profit organizations, this service is free of charge. The Chamber office will review the information and post in the most timely manner possible the calendar event submitted. There will be a charge of $10.00 for non-chamber member profit organizations with payment due before posting. If you would like to advertise here, please call us for specific details.
For Plymouth Area Chamber members, there will be an area for advertising, with each ad running for a two month period of time. Members may offer “Internet Only” special coupons to encourage new and old customers to frequent your store or business.
Calendar space for events will be limited to basic information, who, what, when, where. If there is more information that you need to have known and you have a web site, Chamber members and not-for-profits will be offered a free link to that site.
