2701 N. Michigan Street, PO Box 392, Plymouth, IN; 574-936-3366
United Way of Marshall County is extending their grateful thanks to Marshall County businesses and individuals for their contributions to this year's campaign. Sam Goebel, 2002 United Way Chair, announced at the final cabinet dinner, February 13, 2002, that the county's 2002 goal of $465,000 was exceeded. The projected final total will be $473,597. Thanks to the work of the campaign cabinet, the donors, the companies, all who gave, we were able to capture the Lilly match from the Indiana Association of United Ways. That puts us over the top, Goebel stated. All divisions raised $428,597. The IAUW match is $45,000 putting the total at $473,597. Over $67,000 of new money or increases were raised to fulfill the match. A new division, the Golden Agers chaired by Betty Lou Laramore and Jack Greenlee raised over $13,000. Sam Goebel stated Betty Lou and Jack are to be congratulated on a great first effort. Next year we will set the bar higher. Goebel and the United Way board of directors extruded the campaign through the month of January. Next year's county chair will be Greg Renz.

The ever changing economy and continuing changes in business operations have caused us to re-evaluate our business and work on ways to better serve our customers. During this evaluation process we have decided we need to consolidate our stores, servicing all our customers from one location. We feel this change in our business will enable us to serve you, more efficiently, while at the same time reducing our overhead. Please be assured, we will still be offering mobile service to you our customer. Please feel confident that this will help us to better serve your business and that we will still be taking care of you with the same courteous and expedient service you have always had in the past. We hope we can continue a good working relationship with you through this transition period. Thank you for your patience.
Respectfully, Judy Hughes
