It Is That Time of Year Again
Spring is around the corner and that means that baseball season is nearly in full swing. To celebrate this exhilarating time of the year, Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce and the South Bend Silver Hawks are teaming up to bring the fun and excitement of professional minor league baseball to the Plymouth community and Marshall County. The Silver Hawks believe the perfect way to kick off the start of their 16th season is with the Plymouth exhibition game against Bethel College.
"This is probably one of the most positive events we have in the community. We love the interactions with the players and kids so that they have one-on-one interaction with a positive role model," Mark Neidig, Director of Community Relations for Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, said.
The Silver Hawks exhibition game is played at Bill Nixon Field. To enhance the family atmosphere, there is a barbecue for everyone to enjoy, compliments of the Plymouth Chamber and Fun Zone games for the children. The day will conclude with a fireworks display sponsored by Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth. *
The Plymouth exhibition game day is Wednesday, April 2. A brief itinerary is as follows:
