Education To Careers

Plymouth High School prides itself in preparing students "effectively" for higher education and future work force. The atmosphere is one that promotes self individualized learning while students are challenged to make educational choices regarding their future.

"Education To Careers" is a new initiative that is gaining momentum at the high school to help students plan for the future. The program's goal is to bridge the gap between practical education and tangible needs businesses have. Students who participate are given opportunities, some without pay, to have work experience at local businesses. We have also organized a group that consists of parents, teachers, administrators, students, and businesses partners to aid the placement of students who are interested.

Hopefully, we would be in agreement that educating our students is a "together" effort. It does "take a village to raise a child." If you would have an interest in participating in the Plymouth High School "Education To Careers" program please contact Steve Wilson at the high school 936-2178 for more information.
