Shopping Plymouth First
with Saint Michael's School
In our effort to keep our community shopping Plymouth first, your Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce has joined Saint Michael's School in setting up a local script program, a version of the Catholic Schools larger fund raising program.
The school's program purpose is to generate an ongoing source of revenue for Saint Michael's Catholic School in Plymouth. Customers spend their script money just like cash, in total, at the participating store of their choice. The store contributes 3% of the dollars from these certificates used in your business back to Saint Michael's School. Your Chamber takes care of all the pertinent paperwork by billing your business the 3% monthly, based on the return checks shown on our bank statements, and then issuing a check to Saint Michael's School.
The Chamber's Gift Certificates are being used with "St. Michael's School Script Program" stamped in blue ink on the "Presented by" line of the certificate. These certificates are issued in $10.00 and $25.00 denominations and are spent in total at your business. (Our regular Chamber Gift Certificates are to be treated like cash with "change back" - while these "Script Certificates" are spent in total without receiving any return change.)
