PROMOTE YOUR COMMUNITY AND SUPPORT YOUR CHAMBER

Help Protect Our Children For as little as $7 you can help prevent the serious injury or death of a child. Eighty percent of the children killed in bicycle accidents die from head injuries . . . most are preventable deaths.
That is why Marshall County Pediatric Physicians is again asking for your support of a special program to outfit Marshall County children with a Snell-certified bicycle helmet.
A contribution as small as $7 will outfit one child with a helmet. For just $7,000 we can outfit every third grader in Marshall County.
The local police departments will be distributing the helmets in conjunction with a bicycle safety lecture presented to the entire elementary school. The officers will show the students how to properly fit themselves and wear their helmets. As the children grow, these helmets can be adjusted to fit.
Please assist us by sending a fully tax-deductible check payable to:
Marshall County Community Foundation (Bicycle Helmet Fund)
PO Box 716
Plymouth, IN 46563
Thank you for your continued support. Helmets do prevent most serious injuries that occur in children during the accident-prone ages of 5 to 15. With your support, we will surely lessen the injuries sustained by our children.

Quality of Life Carnival
Walnut Creek Nursing Home, Plymouth
June 1st 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Walnut Creek is a nonprofit corporation. This fundraiser is to raise money for a Garden Park. The area in the rear of our building must be constructed so that our residents can enjoy the outdoors in a safe and pleasing environment with trees, plants, a shelter, lights and concrete paths. We know that the garden park will improve our residents quality of life.
Our community is a great heartfelt place and we want to share this day with everyone. The events and booths are for people of all ages. We are planning some races, wheelchair and trick bike, games, and entertainment.
The Independent Biker Association INC. will have a poker run and raffle. Local companies have also donated many items and gift certificates for the raffle.
