A Community with Arts is a Community with Heart
Part of the charm of Plymouth is the cultural events available to this community. To be a place of destination, a community needs interest - culture... "places to go, people to see"... and this "interest" - this "culture" vibrates and draws people to it. Plymouth is blessed by the cultural opportunities it has to offer and one of the many cultural blessings this community has is the Encore Performing Arts series.
Encore's mission is: To encourage, promote, develop, and program performing arts for the citizens of the greater Marshall County Area. 'A Community with Arts is a Community with Heart!'
With this the 33rd season Encore continues its commitment to bring performing arts to Marshall County and surrounding areas and to make live performances available to people of all ages. Encore strives to maintain a strong performing arts program in our community and establish links with other individuals and organizations to do so. Here is a brief over view of this 2006-2007 season.
'"Music in the Park" 2006 Series - The third year for this series and it continues to grow.
