Then a year ago in January the idea started getting more serious. So, the Bookworm, Inc. was founded. Kay Garrison, a Plymouth native, and Dee Eck, originally from Montana, having moved here over 30 years ago, decided to go together and start a bookstore. The Bookworm, Inc. will be a general bookstore. With the help of computers, you will be able to find and order the books that you want if they are not in stock. Turn around time on these orders should be 24 to 48 hours. The store will also carry audio books. There will be a children's room and eventually a story hour. Also, there will be a coffee corner where coffee will be available for the Bookworm's patrons. The mission of this bookstore is to provide Plymouth and the surrounding communities with a comfortable, friendly place to shop for their reading material. Let The Bookworm be "your partners in reading." |
