Spring has sprung and summer is just around the corner! As summer begins, so does the activities in the Performing Arts Center located in beautiful Centennial Park.
This year's program will kick off with Celtica, an Irish dance and music group on June 5th followed by a performance by the church choirs of Plymouth on June 6th. On June 19th, Illumination, a female barbershop quartet will entertain you with some great oldies. The North East Indiana Banjo Society will close out the month with some pickin' on June 27th.
July starts off with some great family entertainment performed by Marty Miles on July 9th.
Though she's been named country music's Top Female Vocalist at home and abroad, and is one of the industry's most recognized performers, Janie Fricke still sings with the same heart and love for music that started this Indiana farm girl on her path to international stardom. Janie's individual sound and performance personality that has captivated audiences around the world will be in Arts Center on July 24, 1999.
Dr. Arondondle will bring a Mexican Dance group of over 40 performers to Plymouth on July 25th. Nostalgia will bring us 5 decades of Rock-N-Roll on the 31st of July.
The ever popular Missoula Children's Theater, which uses our local children, will be presenting their annual show on August 7th, to kick off the month of August. The Stevens Puppets will present the Wizard of Oz, a great show for all the young and young at heart on August 12th.
The Performing Arts Center will be the site of some great Gospel Music during the Blueberry Festival. The Cumberland Boys will again open the festival on Friday night with Jim Worthing on Saturday, along with other popular groups and individuals.
September 24-25 will be the third annual End of Summer Bluegrass Festival.
As you can see, Plymouth will be blessed with a variety of entertainment during this summer season in the Performing Arts Center.
