Plymouth Arts Commission - Series Headliner INDIANAPOLIS CHILDREN'S CHOIR Sunday, November 26, 2000 3:00 PM Plymouth High School Auditorium Tickets Purchase Outlets: 1st Source Bank A.S.K. for Flowers The Bookworm Felke Florist Christmas Gift Basket We want to thank each of you for your participation for the past two years in this well received promotion and we want to extend the invitation to all members, present and new, to participate again this year. The Christmas Basket promotion continues to be a very successful community effort and terrific exposure for our overall membership. We have received thousands of entries from the area for each of the last two years! Again, the Retail Merchants Committee is asking for your help. During the upcoming Holiday Season, they plan to give away four (4) Gift Baskets highlighting products and services either sold or produced here in Plymouth. Obviously retailers can focus on a specialty item they would like to promote. And again, they would like to invite our Industrial members to join them, where appropriate, to feature products and services manufactured here, i.e. Del Monte Ketchup. With your help we can raise the public awareness of items sold and produced in our community. If you would like to participate, please bring four (4) items to the Chamber by November 17 before 2:00 PM. We will prepare the baskets and advertise the contents and donors beginning the week of Thanksgiving. So that we know what our participation will be, please contact us as soon as possible to let us know if your business will be a registration site and /or if you are bringing the four items for the basket. Note - give your company credit - if the product or promotional item does not in itself identify your business, please attach some identifier to each item. DETAILS AND SUBMISSION FORM Starting November 29, one basket will be given away each week. See the detail information sheet enclosed with this letter. Should you have any questions, please call at 936-2323. Thank you for your help! We wish all a great Holiday Season! Sincerely, Douglas C. Anspach, Executive Director Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration Downtown The fire truck rolls down North Michigan Street. Plymouth's very own Fire Station Dalmatian, Sparky, is in attendance, ears saluting the wind, escorting the special guest of honor, the man in red, Santa! Our host for this evening's event, the Honorable Mayor of Plymouth, Jim Yeazel, with greetings and salutations, will start the proceedings. At the appointed hour, the switch will be thrown and our city's fair tree will sparkle with light... ...and thus commences our Christmas Season! All are invited to join Santa for hot chocolate and cookies at the Fire Station following the tree lighting. --------------------- RETAIL MERCHANTS EVENTS CALENDAR 2000 Sidewalk Sales - July 13, 14, 15 Old Fashion Days - September 14, 15, 16 Merchants Trick or Treat - October 28th Christmas Kick-Off Tree Lighting Celebration - November 21st Christmas Basket - Promotion: Four items for baskets by 11/17. | ||||||
