 South Bend Silver Hawks - located at 501 W. South Street in South Bend would like to announce their staff changes for the upcoming 1999 season. Current Silver Hawks Vice President & General Manager Erik Haag will forgo his duties as the General Manager to focus on his role as Vice President of Palisades Baseball, Ltd. (the Silver Hawks parent company). Haag will continue to oversee the operation of Upper Deck Banquet & Catering and AML Entertainment. Taking the place of Haag as the General Manager of South Bend Silver Hawks is Jim Pool. The 1999 Season will mark Pool's fourth year with Palisades Baseball. Haag announced other promotions within the franchise. Mike Foss, previously the Director of Marketing and Promotions has been promoted to Assistant General Manager. Jon Zeitz, formerly the Director of Ticket Operations has been named Director of Event Operations. Matt Adamsky, who interned with the Silver Hawks in 1998, has been named Director of Stadium Operations. The CrossRoads Restaurant - located at 2513 N. Michigan Street, has recently opened serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Along with banquet facilities with seating for up to 200, catering services and ice delivery, they are also scheduling lounge events and bands every Friday or Saturday evenings.
