Help In Keeping Up
A New Benefit Program

Your Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce has joined in partnership with the Indiana Business Network to offer assistance to our members in the huge task of keeping up with the many laws and regulations that are required by both state and federal government.

The Indiana Business Network, a division of the Indiana Manufacturers Association, was formed to bring together the combined experience and expertise of numerous groups from around the state and join them into a network to produce top quality compliance assistance and training initiatives. This is a unique partnering opportunity for business organizations across the state.

Complying with the myriad of often complex federal and state laws and regulations has become increasingly difficult. New laws and regulations come on the books all the time and employers are forced to struggle with the demanding task of remaining in compliance. Employers are expected to know and be experts on such areas as IRS, EPA, OSHA, EEOC, Civil Rights, Immigration, FMLA, ADA, wage and hour, unemployment and worker's compensation. By joining in this new and unique partnering opportunity, the Plymouth Chamber can now offer additional assistance to its members by opening the doors to this network.

In combining efforts with the Indiana Business Network, the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce members will receive in addition to top quality compliance assistance, discounts on all training programs and seminars, the most complete and comprehensive offered in Indiana. These conferences are designed to be both timely and informative covering subjects that include human resource issues, environmental compliance, and tax and finance information.

In joining forces with the Indiana Business Network, the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce continues to offer members additional resource assistance they may take advantage of in order to reduce business costs and improve productivity. Seminar schedules and registration information will be available at the Plymouth Chamber office, along with on-line registration information (www.imaweb.com). See the schedule of Indiana Business Network Conferences and Seminars for the balance of 1999 in the table below.
