Gil Snyder, Branch Manager at the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Kokomo, IN, Plymouth Division will be retiring on December 31, 2001. He has served Coca-Cola and the community with distinction for the past 50 years. He is wished well in all of his future endeavors. Francis Ellert will assume Gil's responsibilities on January 1, 2002. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Ellert has lived in the area for the past 9 years and served as a counselor, admissions officer and summer camp administrator at the Culver Academies prior to joining Coca-Cola. He is excited about this new chapter in his life as well as remaining very active in the community that he enjoys calling home.

Elite Travel, along with Carnival Cruise Lines, has put together a fund raiser cruise, the proceeds to be donated to Marshall County Red Cross. This cruise is open to everyone. All American has just completed an extensive NASA contract involving their cryogenic tempering process. The -300 degree metal tempering process is normally used to strengthen machine tools and wear parts, but can also change the properties of aluminum. It is hoped that the work done at All American can help keep the current fleet of space shuttles in service for an additional 10 to 15 years beyond their intended service life.
