![]() Holm Clinic/Fitness Forum located at 1305 N. Center Street in Plymouth is proud to announce that Mr. Kent Walterhouse, P.T. has joined the staff as a physical therapist on April 1, 1997. Kent comes to the clinic from North Central Indiana Sports Medicine in Logansport, where he managed all aspects of the physical therapy department for 5 years. He graduated from Bremen High School and earned his bachelor's degree in physical therapy in 1982 from Indiana University, where he graduated with honors. Kent worked for many years in the Indianapolis area, managing orthopedic and sports medicine clinics. Some of his work highlights include being a physical therapist for Championship Auto Racing Team, Pacers Indianapolis Ice Athletes and area high school and college athletes. Kent has attended continuing education courses on treatment of the shoulder, knee, ankle/foot, as well as industrial rehabilitation. Kent will not only be providing patient care in the clinic but is available for speaking engagements and industrial consultation. Appointments may be made Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Physical therapy is by referral from physician, dentist or chiropractor. Please call 936-2333. He and his wife, Sheila, and 3 boys, Scott, Brian and Jake, live in Plymouth. ![]() Felke Florist, Inc. located at 627 S. Michigan Street in Plymouth would like to announce that October 20, 1997 marks the 75th anniversary in business for them. Dating back to the 1850's, the Felke family has provided floral services to their many customers. Mrs. Mary Felke, great-great grandmother to Chris Felke was one of the first florists in Chicago. She then moved her operation to Elkhart, where along with her son, Frank, operated a large wholesale florist. In 1922 the business was moved to its current location in Plymouth. The business has since evolved over four generations: Frank and Mary Felke, Joe and Kitty Felke, and Chris and Jennifer Felke who are the present owners. The present florist and gift shop, along with the largest greenhouse in Marshall County, has seven full-time, and 3 part-time employees, and serves all of Marshall County. They are open six and a half days a week. Felke's are proud of their florist services and equally proud to be the oldest family-owned business in Plymouth. |
