Please volunteer to serve on a Chamber Committee.

Meeting notices are primarily emailed in groups representing each committee at the beginning of each month. You may use the Committee Application pdf.

Community & Business Development
Focus: Enhance and improve the community and business climate.
Meets: Fourth Wednesday of each month, noon at the Chamber office.
Sample of this committee's work: This committee has developed business seminars designed to help business.

Ambassador/Membership
Focus: Welcome new businesses to Plymouth. Create Chamber activities through member input and involvement.
Meets: Second Tuesday of each month, 11:30 AM at the Chamber office.
Sample of this committee's work: This committee develops programs designed to give our member business's exposure to the community, such as the ìDog Days of Summerî and 'The Market Place of Ideas' programs.

Public Relations / Tourism
Focus: Promote Chamber members and activities through communication and events.
Meets: Fourth Monday of each month, noon at the Chamber office.
Sample of this committee's work: This committee has been responsible for attractions such as the banners on Michigan, our Plymouth City Flag and other activities to bring notice to our community to promote public relations and tourism.

Retail Merchants
Focus: Assist retail merchants with activities and programs to enhance the retail sales climate.
Meets: Upon request. Notices are sent to all retail and service member businesses. Meetings are usually 6:00 PM in the evening at the Chamber office.
Sample of this committee's work: Side Walk Sales, Old Fashion Side Walk Sales, City Wide Scavenger Hunt and the Snoop Tag-a-Long program and enhancing the ìTrick or Treatî activities. All our member Retail and Service businesses are invited to participate. When you receive the meeting notice, please plan to attend or send someone from your business to participate. Your ideas are needed and welcomed!
