The hours will be Mondays through Fridays from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Boys & Girls Club features a games room with two pool tables, fooseball and air hockey, pop-a-shot, and ping pong. Other areas include an arts & crafts room and an education center with computers and Power Hour after school when members are encouraged to do their homework under adult supervision. Weather permitting, staff and volunteers also provide weekly instruction and practice in chess, golf, archery, and softball. The Boys & Girls Club is also planning flag football and volleyball leagues for the fall. Registration for these programs is slated for early September. The Club is open to boys and girls ages 8 to 18 for an annual membership fee of $5.00. Members are able to use club facilities during normal hours at no additional charge.
