Best noted for its big red caboose beside the building, Webster uses a variety of teaching methods. A 90 minute reading block, integration of technology, and "Thinking Thursday's" are all part of a solid academic approach. Webster believes all children can learn. The collaborative teaching effort of all students is a model setting. ACTIVITIES Webster offers a variety of experiences. Third graders are partners with a nursing home, the student council is active, and computer clubs, choirs, sports, math contests, science fairs, geography bees and spell bowls are all part of the regular routine. ACADEMIC STANDARDS Webster has a diverse staff with many talents. The school was recognized as a 4-Star School and was nominated as a National Blue Ribbon School. |
