Awards to be presented at Annual Chamber of Commerce Dinner.
1. Distinguished Citizen - awarded to a person who has made positive contributions to the quality of life in the Plymouth area.
2. Volunteer - awarded to a person who contributes volunteer talents and time to worthwhile organizations.
3. Youth Service - awarded to a person who demonstrates exemplary service to the youth of the community.
4. Public Servant - awarded to the person who demonstrates outstanding leadership in the public sector.

These honors may be given to people who qualify through lifetime achievement or extraordinary contributions in the past year. A five person committee, separate from the Chamber, will select the Distinguished Citizen based on the nominations turned into the committee.

Marshall County has its own Problem Waste Collection Facility. The facility is designed to better serve residential households and small businesses in Marshall County. Most of the problem wastes accepted at the facility are recycled or reused in some way. Most importantly, this service ensures that potentially dangerous wastes are properly treated to ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents of Marshall County. Community Outreach Education

All Community Outreach Education sessions are FREE and open to the public. No advanced registration is necessary. Each session is one hour long and includes:
  1. a lecture by a physician, nurse practitioner or other health professional
  2. question and answer opportunities with informal discussion
  3. handouts
  4. refreshments
  5. occasionally, screenings are provided related to the topic discussed. These will be noted with the monthly meeting announcements.
