Brown Bag and Lecture Event: A True Odyssey
The Marshall County Historical Society is sponsoring a Brown Bag Lunch & Lecture Event on Friday, May 9, from Noon – 1:00 p.m. Gail Wing will speak about her father’s cross-country trip after graduating from college in 1933, a time when jobs were scarce due to the Great Depression. Hershel Seymour and a friend headed for Vancouver, B.C., but not everything went to plan on their great hobo adventure!
